AMES, Iowa – Northeast Community College student-athletes have tied an athletic program school record during the fall semester for their efforts in the classroom. There were 114 student-athletes who were named to Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) Fall Academic All-Region Teams.

AMES, Iowa – The Northeast Community College women’s soccer team had seven different student-athletes place on the various All-Region team, it was announced by the ICCAC Wednesday. Samantha Bayer (Queensland, Australia) and Talia Sanders (Queensland, Australia) were named First Team All-Region, Amelia Bingley (Melbourne, Australia), Lexie Lilienthal (Grand Island, Nebraska) and Marleigh Leister (South Jordan, Utah) were named Second Team All-Region while Megan Derby (Keenesburg, Colo.) and Sarah Huckels (Essen, Germany) were named Honorable Mention All-Region.

WATERLOO, Iowa – The No. 9 Northeast Community College women’s soccer team traveled to Waterloo, Iowa Wednesday to compete in the Region 11 Tournament Semifinals against No. 15 Hawkeye Community College. The Hawks fell in the showdown by a final score of 1-0.

NORFOLK, Neb. – The No. 11 Northeast Community College women’s soccer team hosted the Region 11 Tournament First Round at Norfolk Veterans Memorial Field in Norfolk Sunday against North Iowa Area Community College. The Hawks took the showdown by a final score of 1-0 to advance to the Region 11 Tournament Semifinals on Wednesday.

SPENCER, Iowa – The No. 11 Northeast Community College women’s soccer team battled No. 14 Iowa Lakes Community College Wednesday in Spencer, Iowa in the final match of the regular season. The Hawks captured a victory in the ranked matchup by a final score of 1-0.

NORFOLK, Neb. – The No. 10 Northeast Community College women’s soccer team hosted Western Iowa Tech Community College at Norfolk Veterans Memorial Field in Norfolk Wednesday. The Hawks took the contest by a final score of 3-1 in windy conditions.

BURLINGTON, Iowa – The No. 12 Northeast Community College women’s soccer team traveled Saturday to Burlington, Iowa for a conference matchup with Southeastern Community College. The Hawks topped the Blackhawks by a final score of 6-0 to secure their sixth shutout of the season.

MASON CITY, Iowa – The No. 12 Northeast Community College women’s soccer team took on North Iowa Area Community College Wednesday afternoon in Mason City, Iowa. The Hawks scored twice in the final 10 minutes to secure a victory by a final score of 2-1 in the contest.

COUNCIL BLUFFS, Iowa – The No. 7 Northeast Community College women’s soccer team made the short trip to Council Bluffs, Iowa Saturday for a battle with reigning national champion and current NJCAA DI No. 2 Iowa Western Community College. The Hawks fell in the matchup by a final score of 8-0.

NORFOLK, Neb. – The No. 7 Northeast Community College women’s soccer team returned home for a showdown with Marshalltown Community College Saturday at Norfolk Veterans Memorial Field in Norfolk. The Hawks topped the Tigers by a final score of 23-0 in the contest.

NORFOLK, Neb. – The No. 6 Northeast Community College women’s soccer team battled Hawkeye Community College at Norfolk Veterans Memorial Field in Norfolk Saturday. The Hawks and Redtails played to a 0-0 draw at the conclusion of the 90 minutes.

GRAYSLAKE, Ill. – The No. 6 Northeast Community College women’s soccer team competed in their final regular-season match of the year Monday in Grayslake, Illinois as they took on the College of Lake County. The Hawks took the showdown by a final score of 4-0 to end their three-game trip to Illinois a perfect 3-0.

CICERO, Ill. – The No. 6 Northeast Community College women’s soccer team was back on the road for a matchup with Morton Community College on Friday in Cicero, Illinois. The Hawks took the contest by a final score of 4-2 to grab their third-straight victory.

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – The No. 7 Northeast Community College women’s soccer team took on No. 6 Holmes Community College in a neutral-field showdown Sunday in Champaign, Illinois. The Hawks punched in two goals in the second half to secure the ranked win by a final score of 3-1.

SENATOBIA, Miss. – The No. 6 Northeast women’s soccer team completed their stretch of battling three nationally ranked teams in five days Monday as they took on No. 1 Northwest Mississippi Community College in Senatobia, Mississippi. The Hawks fell in the ranked showdown by a final score of 4-0.
