AMES, Iowa – Northeast Community College student-athletes have tied an athletic program school record during the fall semester for their efforts in the classroom. There were 114 student-athletes who were named to Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) Fall Academic All-Region Teams.
AMES, Iowa – The Northeast Community College volleyball team had five different student-athletes named to the various All-Region teams, it was announced by the ICCAC Thursday. Mya Hedstrom (O’Neill, Neb.) and Shaylyn Safranek (Merna, Neb.) were named First Team All-Region, Alex Arenas (Wakefield, Neb.) was named Second Team All-Region, Avery Couch (David City, Neb.) was named Third Team All-Region and Kaidence Wilson (North Loup, Neb.) was named Honorable Mention All-Region.
CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – The Northeast Community College volleyball team was back in Cedar Rapids, Iowa Sunday to compete in the Region 11 Tournament Championship against No. 3 Kirkwood Community College. The Hawks fell in the battle by a final score of 3-0.

OTTUMWA, Iowa – The Northeast Community College volleyball team finished their road trip Thursday afternoon in Ottumwa, Iowa with a matchup against NJCAA DI No. 18 Indian Hills Community College. The Hawks fell in the battle by a final score of 3-1.
FORT DODGE, Iowa – The Northeast Community College volleyball team traveled to Fort Dodge, Iowa Thursday night to take on No. 11 Iowa Central Community College in what was a battle between two of the top three teams in the ICCAC standings. The Hawks fell in the close contest by a final score of 3-1.
NORFOLK, Neb. – The Northeast Community College volleyball team returned to the Cox Activities Center Tuesday night for a conference battle with Ellsworth Community College. The Hawks took the matchup by a final score of 3-0 for their fourth-straight sweep.
NORTH PLATTE, Neb. – The Northeast Community College volleyball team hit the road Saturday for North Platte, Nebraska to compete in the North Platte Triangular against Otero College and North Platte Community College. The Hawks took both showdowns by final scores of 3-0 in each contest for their 13th and 14th sweeps of the year.
MARSHALLTOWN, Iowa – The Northeast Community College volleyball team competed in a conference match Wednesday night against Marshalltown Community College in Marshalltown, Iowa. The Hawks swept the Tigers by a final score of 3-0 to move to 5-2 in conference play.
COLUMBUS, Neb. – The Northeast Community College volleyball team made the trip to Columbus, Nebraska Friday and Saturday for four different matchups this weekend. The Hawks downed Highland Community College 3-1, fell to Central Community College 3-2, topped Neosho County Community College 3-0 and were defeated by Allen County Community College 3-1.

The Hawks swept NIACC 3-0 before falling by a final score of 3-1 to the Knights.
OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – The Northeast Community College volleyball team competed with four different squads Friday and Saturday in Overland Park, Kansas as they took on No. 1 Cowley County Community, No. 2 Johnson County Community College, Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College and No. 18 Kansas City Kansas Community College. The Hawks fell in all four matchups.
