The Cox Activities Center is named after former Northeast President Dr. Robert 'Bob' Cox and opened its doors on Nov. 1, 1979. The building is located between the Library Resource Center and Simon Hall on the southwest side of campus. The gymnasium is home to Hawks volleyball and basketball and has a seating capacity of 2,400.
Dr. Cox and his wife, Helen Ann, continue to be an integral part of the success and growth of Northeast Community College.
