Northeast (4-2-1) was on the board first as Samantha Bayer (Queensland, Australia) found the back of the net fresh off a week where she was named NJCAA Soccer DII Women's Player of the Week. The Panthers rallied and pulled ahead 2-1 briefly before fellow Australians Talia Sanders (Queensland, Australia) twice and Amelia Bingley (Melbourne, Australia) once scored to give the Hawks a comfortable advantage on the scoreboard. Bayer now leads Northeast with 17 points while Sanders trails closely with 15 points through seven matches this season.

HEAR FROM THE HAWKS COACH:
Head Women's Soccer Coach Chad Miller on what clicked offensively to pour in four goals today:
"I really liked our intensity in the first 15-20 minutes," Miller said. "We were playing very relaxed and with purpose. In the second half, I liked our composure in the attacking third. That's where the goals came from. We were patient in the attack."
Miller on the quick turnaround with another showdown in less than 24 hours upcoming:
"The biggest thing right now is refueling our bodies," Miller said. "Getting what we need to get our batteries back to 100%. Then, we need to get rest and do mental recovery. We can enjoy the win now, but when our eyes open in the morning we must be on full reset."
