HEAR FROM THE HAWKS COACH:
Head Women's Soccer Coach Chad Miller on tonight's game:
"We did not match the intensity of Jones at the start and that put us in the hole early," Miller said. "I was happy with how we clawed our way back to 1-2 and almost tied it minutes later. With the level of these teams, we have to be able to play start to finish."
Miller on his team putting this one behind them for another ranked matchup on Saturday:
"We can't change anything from this game, we can only learn from it," Miller said. "It's too early to look back and worry about it. All season long we have tough matchups. We have to stay in the moment and give that moment everything we can."
UP NEXT:
The Hawks will stay in Mississippi and will take on No. 13 Pearl River Community College at 5 p.m. Saturday in Poplarville, Mississippi.
