HEAR FROM THE HAWKS COACH:
Head Women's Soccer Coach Chad Miller on what went right in today's victory:
"I was really happy with how we came out in the second half," Miller said. "We looked a bit sluggish in the first half, but in the second half the switch came on. Our energy was great. Things were really clicking. We came here to see if we could get tested and we did. We played good competition, so it is a good feeling to see us come out with wins."
Miller on facing Hawkeye at home on Saturday:
"That is a big matchup to start off conference play," Miller said. "Hawkeye is a force, and we are going to have to be at our best. It is always exciting to start conference play, but then to start it against arguably one of the better teams in the conference, you have to be excited about that."
UP NEXT:
