Northeast (9-4-2, 3-1-1 ICCAC) fell behind early 1-0 and trailed in the majority of the matchup against the Trojans despite controlling much of the possession. It took until the final 10 minutes of the showdown for the Hawks to get on the board as Amelia Bingley (Melbourne, Australia) assisted Marleigh Leister (South Jordan, Utah) to tie the matchup. The Hawks weren't content with a draw as Samantha Bayer (Queensland, Australia) scored in the final five minutes with an assist from Mia Dack (Kilkenny, Ireland) to complete the comeback in the most improbable of fashions.

HEAR FROM THE HAWKS COACH:
Head Women's Soccer Coach Chad Miller on the incredible ending today:
"The thing that came to mind at the end was heart," Miller said. "The game changed in those final 10 minutes. It was no longer about talent, ability or stamina. It went to heart. Those girls played to win that game."
Miller on using this victory as fuel for the rest of the season:
"It's the team that needs to use this as a spark," Miller said. "They have everything they need to be successful, but that final 10 minutes of play today was another level. I hope they embrace that feeling and find a way to use that for the rest of the way."
