NORFOLK, Neb. – The Northeast Community College softball team welcomed Ellsworth Community College to Ta-Ha-Zouka Park Friday for a doubleheader. The Hawks took down the Panthers in both games by final scores of 10-9 and 9-0 to take their first ICCAC series of the season.

COLUMBUS, Neb. – The Northeast Community College softball team traveled down to Columbus, Nebraska Tuesday for a doubleheader with Central Community College. The Hawks fell in Game 1 by a final score of 6-2 before rallying back for a 6-4 victory in Game 2.

CLERMONT, Fla. – The Northeast Community College softball team traveled down to Clermont, Florida last week to compete in seven games as part of their spring break trip. The Hawks were victorious in five of the seven matchups.

NORFOLK, Neb. – The Northeast Community College softball team was back home at Ta-Ha-Zouka Park in Norfolk Sunday for a doubleheader against North Platte Community College. The Hawks swept the day with victories of 12-2 and 12-0 during the afternoon.

TISHOMINGO, Okla. – The Northeast Community College softball team made their second road trip of the season with doubleheaders in Gainesville, Texas against North Central Texas College on Saturday and Tishomingo, Oklahoma against No. 3 Murray State College on Sunday. The Hawks split the Saturday contests before dropping both showdowns on Sunday.

LAMAR, Colo. – The Northeast Community College softball team finished their trip to Lamar, Colorado Saturday with matchups against Lamar Community College and Southeast Community College. The Hawks took down Lamar by a final score of 6-4 in Game 1 of the day before falling to Southeast by a final score of 4-3.

LAMAR, Colo. – The Northeast Community College softball team kicked their season off Friday with games against Northeastern Junior College and Otero College. The Hawks downed NJC by a final score of 12-3 in five innings before falling to Otero in Game 2 by a final score of 6-1.

NORFOLK, Neb. – After plenty of work last fall and this spring, the Northeast Community College softball team is gearing up for their first road trip of the season as they will take on Northeastern Junior College at 1 p.m. Friday in Lamar, Colorado for the first of a 58-game campaign.

AMES, Iowa – Northeast Community College student-athletes have tied an athletic program school record during the fall semester for their efforts in the classroom. There were 114 student-athletes who were named to Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) Fall Academic All-Region Teams.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Sixty-six Northeast Community College student-athletes have been named to the various National Junior College Athletic Association All-Academic teams for their work in the classroom this year, it was announced by the NJCAA Thursday.

GREENWOOD, Ind. – Sixteen Northeast Community College student-athletes were named to the Academic All-District Team for their combined performances in their sport and in the classroom, it was announced by College Sports Communicators Tuesday. The 16 honorees are a Northeast school record, topping the previous mark of 14 set last academic year. All 16 All-District Team members are now CSC Academic All-America finalists, which will be voted on by CSC members and announced on July 16 for the Women’s Academic All-America Team and July 17 for the Men’s Academic All-America Team.

AMES, Iowa – Northeast Community College had 98 student-athletes NAMED TO THE Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) Academic All-Region Teams, it was announced by the conference Thursday.

NORFOLK, Neb. – The Northeast Community athletic department announced their 2023-24 awards Tuesday as voted on by coaches and staff. Aidyn Woodall (Castle Rock, Colo.) was named Female Athlete of the Year, Edouard Nys (Dottignies, Belgium) was named Male Athlete of the Year, Cadence Kramer (Stuart, Neb.) was named the recipient of the Female Character Award and Rusty Wortman (Gretna, Neb.) was named the recipient of the Male Character Award.

AMES, Iowa – Northeast Community College softball student-athlete Talia Bandt (Grand Island, Neb.) was named Honorable Mention All-Region, it was announced by the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference Wednesday.
