Head Softball Coach Erin Sharpe overall thoughts on the two showdowns:
"The girls showed fight in the second game," Sharpe said. "There was an opportunity to give up, but they fought hard and took Central to seven innings. We are learning how to face adversity fast. It will only make us better in the end."
Shape on her squad having two weeks to prepare for their next contest:
"I'm excited to get time to really focus on improvements with the team," Sharpe said. "We finally have enough time between games to rest up, but also make mechanical adjustments that will improve our game even more."
