NORFOLK, Neb. – The Northeast Community College volleyball team hosted No. 15 Hawkeye Community College in their first conference matchup Wednesday at the Cox Activities Center in Norfolk. The Hawks swept the Red Tails by a final score of 3-0 to start the ICCAC portion of the schedule undefeated.

NORFOLK, Neb. – The Northeast Community College volleyball team was at home for the first time this year at they hosted the Norfolk Marriott Invitational at the Cox Activities Center in Norfolk over the weekend. The Hawks took down both Briar Cliff University JV and McCook Community College Friday by final scores of 3-0 and 3-1 before falling to Cloud County Community College 3-2 on Saturday.

SIOUX CITY, Iowa – The Northeast Community College volleyball team loaded up and headed to Sioux City, Iowa Wednesday for their first-ever meeting with new ICCAC member Western Iowa Tech Community College. The Hawks downed the Comets 3-0 in three sets to complete the sweep.

The Hawks dropped their first matchup of the day to Ranger College 3-0 before rallying back for a 3-0 victory over Trinidad State College later in the afternoon.

NORFOLK, Neb. – The Northeast Community College volleyball team has a roster filled with 16 Nebraskans and has what they hope to be a perfect mix of newcomers and returners. The eight freshmen and eight sophomores will hit the court for the first time in a competitive game together at 9 a.m. Friday in Garden City, Kansas when they will take on Frank Phillips College in the Scooter’s Coffee Invitational.
