The Hawks (13-1-1, 6-0 ICCAC) poured it on and continued their streak of not allowing a single goal in conference play. In the first matchup of the two teams the Hawks won 6-0, and improving on that margin on the road just two weeks later is an impressive feat.

HEAR FROM THE HAWKS COACH:
Head women's soccer coach Chad Miller on how his team looked today:
"The biggest thing for us right now is to continue to get better," Miller said. "NIACC has really improved from the last time we saw them, and playing a team a second time is hard. I am proud of how hard our girls played today. They were mentally locked in."
Miller on what his sophomore class means to him as his team prepares for Sophomore Day next:
"I am not sure I can put into words what this sophomore group means to me," Miller said. "They play with true grit and heart. Every game they leave it all out on the field. They have set the bar high. They have left a mark on this program that will never be forgotten. I am excited to see their success as they move on. Even after they leave Northeast, they will always be on this team and I will always be cheering for them. I will miss them dearly."
UP NEXT:
The Hawks will be home for Sophomore Day as they will take on Southeastern Community College at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Veterans Memorial Field in Norfolk.
