THREE HAWKS ENTER DOUBLE FIGURES IN LOSS TO TRITONS
FORT DODGE, Iowa – The Northeast Community College women’s basketball team was back on the road Saturday to battle Iowa Central Community College in Fort Dodge, Iowa. The Hawks dropped the showdown by a final score of 80-62.

Northeast (10-14, 7-9 ICCAC) and the Tritons were even in most categories on the stat sheet with the biggest difference being the 13.3-percent that the Hawks shot from behind the three-point line compared to the 38.5-percent from Iowa Central. Three different Northeast players scored in double figures as Allison Richards (Pine Ridge, S.D.) tallied 23 points, Clara Garrote (Salamanca, Spain) had 14 points and Sharissa Haas (Pine Ridge, S.D.) added 10 of her own.

Head Women's Basketball Coach Matt Svehla on the afternoon in Fort Dodge:
"Iowa Central played well today and we did not," Svehla said. "We struggled to find any offensive flow and did not defend very well. We'll need to bring a better performance against Central as we play again in just a couple of days."
UP NEXT:
The Hawks will return home and will battle Central Community College next at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Cox Activities Center in Norfolk.
