HEAR FROM THE HAWKS COACH:
Head women's basketball Matt Svehla on what worked in the showdown:
"Our ball movement got us some open jumpers and post baskets early," Svehla said. "That, along with some defensive pressure, helped us get control of the game in the first half. Northing special, but we were ok on both ends of the court tonight."
UP NEXT:
Northeast will play next at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Cox Activities Center in Norfolk against Iowa Lakes Community College.
