HEAR FROM THE HAWKS COACH:
Head women's basketball coach Matt Svehla on how his team was able to pull off the victory tonight:
"Ellsworth played a pretty good game and made us execute," Svehla said. "At times we were a bit impatient, but when we settled in and moved the basketball, we found what we were looking for. Our three-point shooting was only average, but our execution got us sound good looks from two-point range. We played ok, but we have things to clean up moving forward."
UP NEXT:
Northeast will have a few days off before taking on Midland University JV at 5:30 p.m. Friday at the Cox Activities Center in Norfolk.
