HEAR FROM THE HAWKS COACH:
Head women's basketball coach Matt Svehla on today's matchup:
"We just had a hard time controlling Iowa Western on the boards and we just seemed out of sync offensively," Svehla said. "Some of that was good defense on their part, but we were really stagnant with our ball movement. Hopefully the break gives us a chance to recharge."
UP NEXT:
Northeast won't be in action again for a few weeks until they take on Iowa Central Community College at 5 p.m. Wednesday, January, 4 at the Cox Activities Center in Norfolk.
