Slow third quarter halts Hawks on the road

The Hawks (6-3, 5-3 ICCAC) held strong through the first two quarters, allowing only 28 total points to the Bears. DMACC came back strong in the second half, holding the Hawks to under 15 points in the final two quarters.
Patricija Peric (Zagreb, Croatia) led the Hawks in scoring with 15 points. Breanna Stouffer (David City, Neb.) added 11 points, while Yiesha Williams (Elkhart, Ind.) had nine rebounds and eight points.
The Hawks welcome Kirkwood Community College for an ICCAC contest at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Cox Activities Center in Norfolk.
