HEAR FROM THE HAWKS COACH:
Head Softball Coach Erin Sharpe on what clicked for the big victory in Game 2:
"I liked our energy from the beginning to the end of Game 2 and that's what we were missing in Game 1," Sharpe said. "We put the ball in play and made them make errors."
Sharpe on what winning a season series already in conference play shows the rest of the conference:
"I think this shows the ICCAC what we can do and how this is only the beginning of a new era from the Hawks," Sharpe said.
UP NEXT:
The Hawks will host Iowa Lakes Community College for a doubleheader beginning at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Ta-Ha-Zouka Park in Norfolk.
