Nys and 10 others were also named to the various All-Region teams.
Edouard Nys joins a rare company of those who have won Region 11 Player of the Year in both of the seasons in a Hawks uniform. Nys was named First Team All-American last season and in 2024 was even more dominant as he finished in a tie more most goals in the nation with 29 and led the entire country in assists with 25, seven more than the next-closest competitor. Nys had 17 more points than anyone else in the country and was also named First Team All-Region.
Adam Potter is in his third season at the helm of the Hawks and has claimed the title of Region 11 Coach of the Year in each of his first three years at Northeast. Potter has amassed a record of 61-6-3 to this point of his career with the Hawks and has his team qualified for the 2024 NJCAA Men's Soccer Championship in Huntsville, Alabama from November 17-23.
Ludovico Vincini (Modena, Italy), Lewis Rourke (Nottingham, England) and Tobias Gerber (Weiden Germany) all joined Nys as being named First Team All-Region during a season where Northeast rose to No. 1 in the nation and were the regular-season champions of Region 11. Vicini only trailed Nys in the entire country in assists with 17 as a defender for the Hawks. Lewis Rourke (Nottingham, England) has found himself on the First Team during both of his years at Northeast and was 12th in the nation in goals with 17. Gerber came in and made an immediate impact in the midfield during his freshman campaign and added 12 points while being a force in the middle for the Hawks.
Luca Rosen (London, England), Len Valkema (Leewarden, Netherlands), Aleksander Pederson (Aarhus, Denmark), Hugo Munter (Roskilde, Denmark) were named Second Team All-Region, an honor that Rosen has earned twice at Northeast. Valkema put in 12 goals and tallied 30 points in year one with the Hawks while Pedersen improved on his Honorable Mention All-Region performance in 2023 to earn Second Team honors after tallying 18 points in the midfield.
