HEAR FROM THE HAWKS COACH:
Head Men's Soccer Coach Adam Potter on the big performance on Sophomore Day:
"Really good stuff from the guys today," Potter said. "Really like how they came out right away and put the clamps on them without taking their foot off the gas. We faced adversity right away with two guys getting yellow cards, but our guys didn't drop a beat. It was good to have Luca Rosen and Keigo Yoshida in there and everyone that came into the game kept the throttle down. What a statement they made. What a way to honor our sophomores on Sophomore Day by sending them out like that."
Potter on heading back on the road for another match Wednesday:
"We told the guys after the game that this was one step on the ladder," Potter said. "We have five more until we get ready for the playoffs, and we have to take it one step at a time. Another final on Wednesday!"
UP NEXT:
The Hawks will hit the road for a battle with Iowa Central Community College at 1 p.m. on Wednesday in Fort Dodge, Iowa.
