HEAR FROM THE HAWKS COACH:
Head Men's Soccer Coach Adam Potter on ending the regular season with a bang today:
"Another clean sheet," Potter said. "Another shutout for us today. We have only conceded one goal in conference play. We lead the nation in shutouts. We were really good defensively. Overall, it was a team effort. Everyone who came into the game put a stamp on it. We finished chances early and jumped on our opponent again. Good momentum going into postseason play. Now we have to work 20 times harder."
Potter on his message with the playoffs up next:
"The job is not done," Potter said. "We have to have the hunger and desire for more. We have to want it even more than we did in the regular season. Everything that we have done to this point was fantastic and it has been a great season, but we have to remember at the end of the day that this is the part that we have been training for all year long. Now is an opportunity for us to display what we are capable of doing to the world."
UP NEXT:
The Hawks will start their postseason journey at 1 p.m. Sunday at Norfolk Veterans Memorial Field against either North Iowa Area Community College or Scott Community College.
