NO. 8 MEN’S SOCCER STARTS CONFERENCE PLAY WITH SOLID WIN OVER NIACC
NORFOLK, Neb. – The No. 8 Northeast Community College men’s soccer team was again in action for their fourth game in the last seven days Saturday at Veterans Memorial Field. The Hawks took the victory over North Iowa Area Community College by a final score of 4-1.

The Hawks (11-2, 1-0 ICCAC) were able to get back to their winning ways and put their loss to Iowa Lakes Community College Wednesday to bed with a quartet of goals in the matchup. The Hawks wanted to start off conference play with a hot start and they did just that with a comfortable win.

Head men's soccer coach Adam Potter on his team starting conference play with a victory:
"It was a great team performance today," Potter said. "We earned three points and now we are on to the next battle."
Potter's thoughts on his team not having a mid-week game and getting an opportunity to rest:
"We are super excited to have a week before our next match to finally catch up on rest and fix things in training this week," Potter said. "We have a big matchup coming up against Southeastern next Saturday!"

The Hawks will play again at 1 p.m. next Saturday for a major ICCAC matchup against Southeastern Community College in Burlington, Iowa.
