HEAR FROM THE HAWKS COACH:
Head Men's Golf Coach Ty Heimes on the week in Lincoln:
"It was a good tournament," Heimes said. "We had a solid first day and hung in there during the first 36 holes. We putted the ball much better on the second day, shooting 288 and an even par round against good competition. It was good for our guys to see that competition."
Heimes on another event coming up next Monday and Tuesday:
"Quick turnaround," Heimes said. "We have one more tournament and then a nice little break for our guys to recover. We are excited. Another tournament that we are hoping for a high finish in to end this stretch of events on a high note."
UP NEXT:
The Hawks will compete in the Northwestern Invitational Monday at The Ridge Golf Club in Sioux Center, Iowa and Tuesday at Landsmeer Golf Club in Orange City, Iowa.
