HEAR FROM THE HAWKS COACH
Head golf coach Wes Bernt's thoughts on what led to his team taking home the victory:
"I would say the biggest key to the win was playing well in the windy conditions in the first round," Bernt said.
Bernt's thoughts on all of his players placing 13th or higher in the event:
"I was happy with the consistency of the three through six guys in the lineup," Bernt said. "We will rely heavily on that position come postseason and hopefully this tournament gets us heading in the right direction."
Bernt's thoughts on how he would like his team to build upon this momentum:
"Looking forward we will access any mistakes we made this week and work on our weaknesses," Bernt said.
