Hawks take fourth at Doane Spring Invitational
CRETE, Neb. – The Northeast Community College men’s golf team finished in fourth place under first-year head coach Wes Bernt’s first invitational at the Doane University Spring Invitational on Saturday in Crete, Neb. The Hawks golfed on Friday during the opening day of the invitational at the College Heights Country Club in Eagle, Neb.

Ty Heimes (Battle Creek, Neb.) and Everette Carroll (Harlan, Iowa) both carded a 77 on Friday, while Heimes shot a 78 and Carroll hit an 81 on Saturday, respectively. Jordan Hart (Omaha, Neb.) carded a 78 on Friday followed by an 81 on Saturday. John Canham (Norfolk, Neb.) rounded out the Hawks scoring with a 79 and an 82.
The Hawks battle Central Community College in a dual at 1 p.m. on April 5 at the Elks Country Club in Columbus, Neb.
