HEAR FROM THE HAWKS COACH:
Head Men's Basketball Josh Clark on his sophomore class getting a victory in their final home game:
"They all work so hard," Clark said. "Every single day. They do more than what is expected of them and I'm proud of them. We always talk about playing for the guy next to you in the locker room, but tonight it was more than that. It was playing for the sophomore that has put in their time, and the freshmen stepped up. Vince was one assist away from a triple-double. We came out and did what we do."
Clark on the playoffs being next and a new season beginning:
"Neutral site," Clark said. "It's one game at a time. If we can get past that first one that can get us rolling. We are playing well and we have that swagger and confidence back a little bit. It was fun tonight."
UP NEXT:
The Hawks will start the Region 11 Tournament in a battle with No. 12 Iowa Lakes Community College at 1 p.m. Saturday on the campus of Southwestern Community College in Creston, Iowa.
