HEAR FROM THE HAWKS COACH:
Head Men's Basketball Coach Josh Clark's overall thoughts on the conference matchup:
"Another tough night shooting," Clark said. "Defensively, we needed to guard better, but we stepped it up in the second half. We have a great group of guys that play for each other and we'll be back to work on Monday."
Clark on what his three sophomores have meant to him during his inaugural season at the helm of the Hawks with Sophomore Night upcoming on Wednesday:
"This first sophomore group has been a staple for our program," Clark said. "They've set the tone on what it means to work hard and lead with integrity. We always say that, 'Tomorrow is never promised, play as hard as you can today,' and this sophomore group has epitomized that. I am so grateful for their commitment and dedication to our team. I love each of them and wish them nothing but the best in whatever the future brings."
UP NEXT:
The Hawks will finish the regular season at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Cox Activities Center in Norfolk against Southwestern Community College. Sophomores Ben Hammond (Norfolk, Neb.), Bryan Rolle (Nassau, Bahamas) and Hunter Oestreich (Battle Creek, Neb.) will be honored as part of Sophomore Night.
