COUNCIL BLUFFS, Iowa – The Northeast Community College men’s basketball team was on the road Wednesday night for a battle with Iowa Western Community College in Council Bluffs, Iowa. The Reivers took the Region 11 showdown by a final score of 111-105.

Northeast (4-5, 0-2 ICCAC) shot 50.7-percent on the night and had 48 points in the paint compared to just 32 from Iowa Western. Amaire Perkins (Sanford, Fla.), Bryan Rolle (Nassau, Bahamas), Jacob Martin (Omaha, Neb.), Vincent Garrett (Lincoln, Neb.), Ben Hammond (Norfolk, Neb.) and Collin Nick (Lincoln, Neb.) all were in double figures as the Hawks scored their most points this season in the matchup.

"Played hard enough to win," Clark said. "Just didn't get it done down the stretch. Too many turnovers late."
Clark on how he wants to spend the week off:
"Just have to learn and grow," Clark said. "There's no time off in the conference."
