HEAR FROM THE HAWKS COACH:
Head Men's Basketball Coach Josh Clark's evaluation of the evening:
"When the shots didn't drop early it hurt us," Clark said. "We kind of got into a funk. We were hoping shots were going in, and they weren't. We responded in the second half, but I wish the first half was like the second. We are a tale of two halves right now. After the first half we are digging out of a hole. The second half we come out and played tough. Our defense disrupted them in the second half tonight."
Clark on hosting the defending Region 11 Champion Lakers next:
"I think we match up well with them," Clark said. "Talent-wise we are on par with them. They are coming into our gym and if we play like we are capable of we have nothing to worry about, but we can't play like we did tonight."
UP NEXT:
The Hawks will clash with No. 12 Iowa Lakes Community College at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at the Cox Activities Center in Norfolk.
