Northeast men fall on the road to No. 7 Iowa Western

After trailing by 18 points at halftime, the Hawks (4-9, 0-3 ICCAC) began to chip away at the Reiver lead in the second half, despite shooting 31 percent from the field. The Reivers kept the Hawks in check for much of the second half as they pulled away for the win.
Evan Decker (Omaha, Neb.) led the Hawks with 21 points and nine boards after shooting 8-of-16 from the field and 4-of-9 from beyond the arc. Jared Lopez (Lincoln, Neb.) added 12 points and seven rebounds, while Chaz Cullum (Omaha, Neb.) chipped in 11 points.
The Hawks visit Iowa Central Community College for a 7:30 p.m. tipoff Wednesday in Fort Dodge, Iowa.
