Northeast men fall in overtime to Concordia JV

The Hawks (12-16, 2-5 ICCAC) were firing on all cylinders in the first half, but were out-scored by 20 points in the second half and eight points in overtime. Northeast managed to shoot 44 percent from the field and 38 percent from beyond the arc, but it wasn't enough.
Emmette Page (Crystal, Minn.) tallied 27 points to lead Northeast. Ben Moxness (Scribner, Neb.) added 25 points and eight rebounds, while Daniel Akuei (Melbourne, Australia) had a double-double with 14 points and 14 boards. Michael Anderson (Lincoln, Neb.) also chipped in a double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds.
The Hawks will try to halt their three-game losing skid when they welcome Quakerdale Prep Academy at 7 p.m. Wednesday in Norfolk.
