Northeast volleyball unable to knock off No. 2 Iowa Central

FORT DODGE, Iowa – The Northeast Community College volleyball team couldn't overcome the powerful offensive attack displayed by No. 2 Iowa Central Community College on Wednesday night.
The Hawks (9-20, 4-4 ICCAC) fell in four sets, 15-25, 25-23, 9-25 and 15-25 in an ICCAC match in Fort Dodge, Iowa.
Rachel Ecklund (Overton, Neb.) tallied 13 kills and 16 digs. Danielle Wadsworth (Wolbach, Neb.) had 12 kills, while Edyn Sudbeck (Wynot, Neb.) chipped in 34 assists. Elizabeth Christensen (Stanton, Neb.) recorded 15 digs, while Lauren Kavan (Cedar Bluffs, Neb.) added 14 digs and eight kills.
The Hawks step out of conference play to take on North Platte Community College at 10 a.m. Saturday in North Platte, Neb.
