Costly turnovers hurt Hawks on the road

Down by five points after the first quarter, the Hawks (8-5, 7-5) were held in check for much of the game. The Reivers didn't allow no more than 10 points in a quarter as the Hawks ultimately committed 27 turnovers.
Taylor Peter (Chambers, Neb.) tallied 10 points and eight rebounds. Ashley Hassett (Hershey, Neb.) added nine points and 10 boards, just shy of a double-double. Brianna Bauer (O'Neill, Neb.) recorded seven points in 14 minutes of play.
The Hawks look to get back in the win column when they host North Iowa Area Community College at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Cox Activities Center in Norfolk.
