NORFOLK, Neb. ? The No. 8 Northeast Community College women?s soccer team cruised to an impressive victory in their first conference game of the season. The Hawks took down North Iowa Area Community College by a resounding final score of 6-0.
NORFOLK, Neb. – The No. 7 Northeast Community College women's soccer team cruised to an impressive victory in their first conference game of the season. The Hawks took down North Iowa Area Community College by a resounding final score of 6-0.
The Hawks (8-1-1, 1-0 ICCAC) jumped on the board early and never looked back. Starting conference play with a win puts the Hawks at the top of the conference standings, a place that they have ended up at during each of the last two seasons.

Head women's soccer coach Chad Miller on his team keeping their hot streak alive:
"I thought we kept our focus and energy that we've had the last couple of games," Miller said. "Hopefully we keep that going as the season goes on."
Miller on the keys to keeping that hot streak going:
"I want to keep up everything that we've been doing," Miller said. "Our focus on pressure, keeping the energy and all that stuff. It's one game at a time and we have to keep charging."
