The Hawks outshot NIACC, 20-4.
"We started off the game really well and had good possession and buildup, but as the game went on, we seemed to have some troubles adjusting to the wind and the surface," head coach Chad Miller said. "NIACC came to play and it was good competition for us."
The Hawks are scheduled to compete in the Region XI Tournament, which begins on Friday. If the Hawks are the No. 1 seed, they will have a bye in the first round and host the semifinal round on Tuesday at Veterans Memorial Field in Norfolk.
