AMES, Iowa – Northeast Community College softball student-athlete Isabel Raburn (Holdrege, Neb.) was named Second Team All-Region while Bailee Ahlemeyer (Cambridge, Neb.) was named Honorable Mention All-Region, it was announced by the ICCAC.
Raburn was the ace for the Hawks all season in the circle and she led the entire ICCAC in strikeouts with 219. The freshmen finished the year with a 3.59 ERA and was the winning pitcher in 13 of Northeast's 21 wins.
Head softball coach Erin Sharpe was thrilled to see Raburn rewarded for her hard work this season.
"She was an impact player for us," Sharpe said. "I think she will stand out even more next year. I'm excited for her future."
Ahlemeyer appeared in 56 games for Northeast in 2025, hit for a .343 batting average, blasted five home runs and recorded 19 doubles. Ahlemeyer led off for the Hawks throughout her freshman season and provided stellar defense in center field for Northeast.
Sharpe also knows the future is bright with Ahlemeyer back in a Hawks uniform again next season.
"Bailee was a key player out in the outfield for us," Sharpe said. "There weren't a lot of balls that didn't get caught in her range out there. She also was a strong threat at the plate for us."
