HEAR FROM THE HAWKS COACH:
Head Men's Soccer Coach Adam Potter on what clicked for Northeast Wednesday:
"Today was exactly what I've seen since training camp," Potter said. "When we want something, we go and get it. We dug ourselves a hole early and put ourselves in a situation that we didn't need to be in. It was awesome to see our guys respond. We scored three goals in five minutes. When we want to apply ourselves to something, we go and get it."
Potter on hitting the road again this weekend:
"We are excited to go back to Illinois," Potter said. "That game will be a tough challenge for us. It will be a fun environment and a fun place to play. We are excited for the opportunity to go and knock off another good team."
UP NEXT:
The Hawks will travel to Illinois for the final time this season as they will battle Kankakee Community College at 11 a.m. Saturday in Kankakee, Illinois.
