GARRETT NAMED HAWKS ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

Vincent Garrett, a freshman on the men's basketball team, has named the Northeast Community College Athlete of the Week, it was announced by the Northeast Athletic Department on Monday.

Garrett guided the Hawks to a road victory on Saturday, tallying 31 points againt North Iowa Area Community College, his highest point total as a member of the men's basketball team. Garrett pitched in 14 points on Wednesday against No. 12 Iowa Lakes Community College. 

He is currently averaging 15 points and 5.7 rebounds per game. Garrett is also shooting 52 percent from the field.

Garrett and the Hawks will host Iowa Western Community College on Wednesday and McCook Community College on Saturday in Norfolk.
