Lauren Hirsch enters her third season as an assistant coach under head coach Chad Miller.

Last season Hirsch joined head coach Chad Miller in being named the Women’s Midwest Region Staff of the Year for Division II Institutions by United Soccer Coaches after a record-setting season in 2021. The pair led the Hawks back to the national tournament. Naomi Pedroza was named NJCAA DII Second Team All-American and Romeni Gurmendi was named NJCAA DII Honorable Mention All-American under the tutelage of Hirsch.

Hirsch played an integral role in guiding the Northeast women's soccer team to their first-ever appearance in the NJCAA DII Women's Soccer National Tournament. The Hawks finished with a 13-5 record and Naomi Pedroza, Mackenzie Byrnes and Jessica Clinton garnered NJCAA DII All-American status with Hirsch’s guidance.

Hirsch is a graduate of Northeast, obtaining an Associate of Arts degree in 2018. At Northeast, she was a member of the Hawks’ women's soccer team, earning First Team All-Academic honors and All-Conference honors as a freshman and sophomore.

Hirsch attended Luther Preparatory School in Watertown, Wis., where she was a four-time letterwinner and varsity starter in volleyball and soccer. She was also a three-year starter in basketball. She was named First Team All-Conference in both sports, while receiving high honors all four years in high school.

She is responsible for practice planning, recruiting, travel coordination and game management.
