Sanger named ICCAC DII Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week

On Tuesday, Sanger was named the ICCAC DII Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week. She recorded 85 total digs in 14 sets, while currently being ranked 11th in the country, averaging just over six digs per set in 2019.
In a five-set victory over Central Community College, Sanger tallied 30 digs after notching 24 digs and eight assists against Southeastern Community College.
Sanger and the Hawks are back in action tonight when they take on Ellsworth Community College at 7 p.m. at the Cox Activities Center in Norfolk.
