NORFOLK, Neb. – The No. 6 Northeast Community College women's soccer team was back home against another conference foe in Hawkeye Community College. The Hawks took care of business and took the victory by a final score of 8-0.
The Hawks (11-1-1, 4-0 ICCAC) continued their streak of not allowing a single goal since the start of conference play. Northeast has a scoring margin of 36-0 since ICCAC play began on September 19.
Jessie Eijbersen (Arnhem, Netherlands) scored goals 11, 12 and 13 of her stellar season in the tilt.

Head women's soccer coach Chad Miller on if anyone in particular has jumped off the page on his team just their recent success streak:
"The whole team stands out to me," Miller said. "They have really found an incredible way to make it all work. The attack is a society, the midfield is a society and the defense is a society. They all thrive together."
Miller on what he will tell his team to keep their focus strong:
"My message to them is to keep our eyes looking forward to the next step," Miller said. "If we want to get to the top, we have to take one step at a time."

Northeast will again play at home as they welcome Scott Community College to their home turf at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Veterans Memorial Field in Norfolk.
