NO. 7 NORTHEAST WOMEN’S SOCCER SCORES A DOZEN SATURDAY

WEST BURLINGTON, Iowa – The No. 7 Northeast Community College women's soccer team hit the pitch again Saturday in West Burlington, Iowa for a conference matchup with Southeastern Community College. The Hawks took a huge victory in the contest by a final score of 12-0.

The Hawks (10-1-1, 3-0 ICCAC) kept their undefeated conference streak alive with another comfortable win. The Hawks have started conference play with wins of 6-0, 10-0 and now 12-0.

HEAR FROM THE HAWKS COACH:

Head women's soccer coach Chad Miller on what worked for his team in the match:

"I was really proud of our combinations tonight," Miller said. "We played some great balls into small space. We talk a lot about making sure we keep taking steps forward. I feel we have been doing that."

Miller on Hawkeye Community College coming into town next:

"You can never overlook anyone, but especially Hawkeye," Miller said. "We have to keep our focus on improving ourselves and going into the match the best we can be. Hawkeye will come ready to play, so we have to make sure we are ready."

UP NEXT:

The Hawks will be back at their home stadium to battle with Hawkeye Community College at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at Norfolk Veterans Memorial Field in Norfolk.
