Pedroza earns conference and national recognition
NORFOLK, Neb. – Freshman Naomi Pedroza (Hastings, Neb.) has been the go-to threat for the Northeast Community College women’s soccer team this season.
NORFOLK, Neb. – Freshman Naomi Pedroza (Hastings, Neb.) has been the go-to threat for the Northeast Community College women's soccer team this season.
On Tuesday, the ICCAC honored Pedroza as the DI Women's Soccer Field Athlete of the Week after guiding the Hawks to a 7-1 record. In eight games, she has tied the all-time goals in a season record for the Hawks and currently sits in the top-10 nationally in goals scored with 16.
On Wednesday, it was announced by the NJCAA that Pedroza was named the national player of the week for her efforts.
