Jenna Jochum joins the Northeast Community College women’s basketball staff in the 2022-2023 season for her first year with the Hawks under head coach Matt Svehla.

Jochum began coaching in 2017 for NEN Hoops and did so until 2019. She began coaching basketball at Lutheran High Northeast from 2019-2022 and coached volleyball from 2020-2022.

Jochum attended Norfolk Senior High School and graduated with honors from Northeast Community College before transferring to Wayne State College. At Norfolk Senior High School Jochum was a three-time letterwinner in volleyball, a three-time letterwinner in basketball and a three-time letterwinner in tennis.

At Norfolk Senior High School Jochum graduated with honors and was a member of the National Honors Society. She is the school leader in three-point field goal percentage, shooting 47.2-percent. She was named Norfolk Daily News Female Athlete of the Year in 2017 and participated in the Northeast Nebraska All-Star Game in 2017.
