Northeast women roll Marshalltown for second ICCAC win

The Hawks (18-2, 2-0 ICCAC) held the Tigers to just 14 points in the first half, while scoring 47 points. The second half was much of the same, as the Hawks tallied 50 points compared to 33 by Marshalltown.
Five players scored in double digits, led by Beth Matas (Girona, Spain) and Macey Kulhanek (Howells, Neb.) as both had 15 points. Kyla Moore (Norfolk, Neb.) chipped in 14 points, while Breanna Stouffer (David City, Neb.) added 13 points. Lorna Maxon (Laurel, Neb.) tallied a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds.
The Hawks shot 60 percent from the field and 50 percent from beyond the arc.
Northeast hosts Midland University JV at 5 p.m. tomorrow at the Cox Activities Center in Norfolk.
