Moore named ICCAC DI Women’s Basketball Player of the Week

NORFOLK, Neb. – Sophomore Kyla Moore (Norfolk, Neb.) has made a steady impact for the Northeast Community College women's basketball team this season.
On Tuesday, Moore was named the ICCAC DI Women's Basketball Player of the Week after leading the Hawks (14-2) to two victories last week. Moore tied her career-high with 26 points in a 59-57 victory over (RV) North Dakota State College of Science and followed with a team-high 16 points in a 95-54 win over Mount Marty College JV.
Moore leads the ICCAC with 16.3 points per game and is second in three-point shooting percentage at 45 percent.
Moore and the Hawks are back in action at 5 p.m. on Jan. 8, 2020 when they face Central Community College at the Cox Activities Center in Norfolk.
