NORFOLK, Neb. – The Northeast Community College women's basketball team is excited to announce the addition of Breanna Stouffer to the 2019-2020 recruiting class, it was announced by head coach Matt Svehla.
The 5-foot-9 senior from David City Aquinas High School adds immediate depth for the Hawks. Stouffer was named to the Class 'C1' All-State Second Team and the Centennial Conference West Division All-Conference Team after scoring more than 1,000 points in her career. Stouffer led her team to a 16-6 record as a senior.
"Breanna has good basketball IQ on both ends of the court and she is a leader on the floor," Svehla said. "She communicates well and helps direct others. Breanna has the ability to shoot the three, but can also run the show and get the ball where it needs to be."
The Hawks finished the season with an overall record of 16-11 after making a trip to the Region XI championship.
