NORTHEAST MEN’S SOCCER COMPLETES PERFECT ROAD TRIP TO MOVE TO 5-0
GLEN ELLYN, Ill. – The Northeast Community College men’s soccer team wrapped up their trip to the Land of Lincoln Sunday in Glen Ellyn, Illinois against College of DuPage. The Hawks came out on top by a final score of 8-1 to start a perfect 5-0 on the season.
GLEN ELLYN, Ill. – The Northeast Community College men's soccer team wrapped up their trip to the Land of Lincoln Sunday in Glen Ellyn, Illinois against College of DuPage. The Hawks came out on top by a final score of 8-1 to start a perfect 5-0 on the season.
It took until the 37th minute for the Hawks to punch in a goal, but Northeast would lead 3-0 before the halftime horn blew. College of DuPage would grab a goal in the 84th minute to avoid a shutout, but it was too little too late as the Hawks had a comfortable advantage on the scoreboard.
Luca Baltzer (Oberstenfeld, Germany) was an assist machine Sunday as his four assists in the game were just one shy of the school record.

"Today was a good test for us and it was clear we are listening and getting better every day," Potter said. "We have lots to still improve on, but we need to keep conquering one day at a time!"

Northeast will travel to a familiar foe this week as they will face Iowa Central Community College at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Fort Dodge, Iowa.
