STORR SCORES 21 AS NO. 12 DMACC TAKES DOWN NORTHEAST

BOONE, Iowa – The Northeast Community College men's basketball team again battled a ranked opponent as they took on No. 12 Des Moines Area Community College Wednesday night in Boone, Iowa. The Bears were victorious by a final score of 91-64.

The Hawks (11-12, 3-8 ICCAC) had another strong performance from Collin Storr (Nassau, Bahamas) as his 22 points on the night brought his season average to 16.1 points-per-game. Jaden Strachan (Nassau, Bahamas) put together his second-highest point total of the season with his 10 points in the showdown. Northeast shot 71.4-percent from the free-throw line compared to the 63.2-percent from DMACC.
