HEAR FROM THE HAWKS COACH:
Assistant coach Junior Denis on the high number of tight contests the Hawks have had this year:
"We've had some close games in part because we have a lot of guys hurt," Denis said. "We've had to play some of the freshmen, which is good because we can get them ready for the bigger games. These close games will help us down the road."
UP NEXT:
The Hawks will go on the road to battle No. 8 Kirkwood Community College at 3 p.m. Saturday in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
