The Hawks (11-1-2 ICCAC) had a window of opportunity early in the second half, after trailing 37-31 heading into halftime. The Reiver defense shut down any momentum the Hawks were trying to gain, ultimately out-scoring Northeast 45-28 in the final half.
Emmette Page (Crystal, Minn.) the leading point scorer in the ICCAC tallied 20 points and grabbed five rebounds. Michael Anderson (Lincoln, Neb.) added 11 points and nine boards, while Ben Moxness (Scribner, Neb.) pitched in 11 points and five rebounds.
The Hawks host Little Priest Tribal College at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Cox Activities Center in Norfolk.
